Glowmark — Privacy
I'm an indie dev. I make Glowmark alone (under the name Koirala Studio). This page exists because Apple and privacy laws want one.
Short version
Glowmark stores your habits and focus history on your iPhone. There's no account system and no analytics backend in the app. Optional camera, photos, and calendar permissions are only used for features you choose to turn on.
What stays on your device
Habits, logs, notes, focus sessions (Journey), white-noise preferences, themes, and settings live on your phone — including an App Group container so the Home Screen / StandBy widget can read and write habit state on the same device.
Delete the app and that local Glowmark data is gone (standard iOS behavior; your own backups may still include it).
What leaves your device
Nothing for habit or focus data. Glowmark does not sync to a cloud I run, and it does not include an analytics or tracking server.
If you share a story, the photo leaves your phone only through the system share sheet or Photos — to whatever app or destination you pick. Glowmark does not upload stories to a Glowmark server.
Optional permissions
- Calendar — if you allow it, today's events can show on the home header or desk clock. Events stay on device; you can deny access.
- Camera & Photos — only when you create a story: take or pick a photo, apply filters, then save or share. Stories are exports, not an in-app photo gallery stored by Glowmark.
What I don't collect
- Your name, email, or an account login (there's no account).
- Location, contacts, or HealthKit data.
- Anything used to track you across other apps or websites.
I don't sell data.
What Apple sees on its own
When you download Glowmark, Apple processes your App Store account, the download, and any crash reports you choose to share. See apple.com/legal/privacy.
Kids
Glowmark isn't designed for or directed at children under 13. I don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
