Cardia
Cardia tracks an estimated fitness age over time using only your iPhone's camera and flash — no wearables. After onboarding, you get two free checks — one resting heart rate, one heart rate recovery — to reach your early estimate. Cardia Premium unlocks everything after that reveal: ongoing checks, a stable baseline estimate, the home gauge, daily check-ins, goals, full history, trends, and PDF export. Readings stay on your device; the camera reads your pulse without recording anything. Every result is a wellness estimate — not a medical one.
Download on the App Store ↗After onboarding, Cardia walks you through two phone-based checks: a resting heart rate reading (PPG via camera and flash, with adaptive capture while you're calm and still) and a heart rate recovery test after brief effort, followed by 60 seconds of recovery. Free users get those two checks — one resting, one recovery — to reach an early estimated fitness age. After that reveal, Cardia Premium is required to keep going.
Subscribers unlock ongoing checks, a stable estimate once you've logged three of each type, the home gauge against your real age, daily resting-HR check-ins, 30-day trends, baseline progress (3+3), recheck prompts, three goal paths, a weekly activity checklist, a Journey tab, full reading history, fitness-age trend snapshots, shareable PDF export, and optional local reminders. No accounts, no cloud sync. The camera is for pulse detection only — no video or audio is recorded.
