Frequently asked
Door Ready
Are my photos private?
Saved looks stay on your phone — I don't get a copy. The one photo you check gets sent securely so the AI can read your outfit, then it's gone from my servers. Nothing sits in a cloud album with your name on it. More detail on the privacy page.
What's free vs Pro?
Free: five outfit checks per week. Pro ($3.99/mo or $19.99/yr): unlimited checks, custom occasions, full look book history, compare, and seasonal packs. Plans are in the app if you want the exact numbers before buying.
The read feels wrong — can I trust it?
Sometimes it'll nail it, sometimes it'll miss the vibe entirely. It's a model's guess about dress code, not gospel. Use it as a nudge before you walk out, not the final word — especially for weddings, work events, or anything where the dress code actually matters.
Analysis failed or got stuck?
Check your connection and try again. Full-length shots in decent light work best — head to toe in frame. Still broken? Email me with your iOS version and what you were doing; I'll take a look.
How do I restore or cancel Pro?
In the app: Settings → Restore purchases or Manage subscription. Or iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app doesn't cancel billing — Apple keeps charging until you cancel there.
Vejigarden
Does the AI disease check send my photos anywhere?
No. The model runs entirely on your iPhone through Apple's Core ML. Your leaf photos stay in Vejigarden's local storage unless you delete them. The only data that leaves your device is what RevenueCat needs to verify a Premium subscription.
What does Vejigarden Premium unlock?
Unlimited plants and unlimited disease diagnosis. Free tier gives you up to 3 plants with full tracking and unlimited journals. Weekly, monthly, and annual plans all unlock the same Premium features — see the Vejigarden page; the annual plan includes a 1-week free trial.
Can I trust the disease diagnosis?
Treat it as a starting point, not a verdict. The on-device model covers 14 common garden plants and 38 diseases — it can be wrong. For anything important, confirm with a local extension office or a gardener you trust before treating.
ShakeTask
Will ShakeTask work without internet?
Yes for everyday use. Your lists and tasks stay on your device with no cloud sync and no account. ShakeTask does send anonymous usage analytics to Google Firebase Analytics (screens and taps, not your list content). See the ShakeTask privacy policy.
What does the subscription unlock?
See the ShakeTask page for the current tier breakdown. The free version covers everyday use; the subscription is for power users who want unlimited lists, custom commitment timers, and energy-mode profiles.
General
Do your apps collect any data about me?
Depends on the app. Your stuff (lists, garden logs, saved looks, heart-rate readings) stays on your phone — no account, no cloud sync from me. Some apps send anonymous usage stats to Google Firebase (ShakeTask, Cardia, Door Ready — not Vejigarden) so I can see what's breaking; nothing you create inside the app goes with it. Door Ready sends the single photo you check to Google's AI for that read only. See the privacy policy and each app's page for the specifics.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. On your iPhone: Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → tap the app → Cancel Subscription. Apple handles all subscription management; the studio cannot cancel on your behalf.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are issued by Apple, not by the studio. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find the purchase, and request a refund. Apple decides on a case-by-case basis.
I have a feature idea.
Send it. Indie apps live or die by what users actually want. Email it through, mention which app, and it'll get read.
